The Gyrokinesis Method is a movement method that addresses the entire body, opening energy pathways, stimulating the nervous system, increasing range of motion and creating functional strength through rhythmic, flowing movement sequences. It is an original and unique method, which coordinates movement, breath and mental focus.
This will be a live video call with Rebecca at a scheduled time. Nobody else will be on the call. Rebecca will do an in depth interview and postural assessment with you to figure out how you can best improve the quality of your life through movement.
Once the interview is complete, (5-10 minutes depending on your history) you will embark on a movement journey with Rebecca as she guides you through the Gyrokinesis exercises.
The session can be as fast and flowing or slow and methodical as you wish.
Rebecca will ensure that you get a wonderful workout, while maintain safe alignment.
You will learn breathing, movement, stability and mobility and all kinds of other exciting things!
Rebecca is a guide but ultimately she is there to support you on your journey to blossom through movement and the breath.
All you need is a chair, yoga mat, reliable wi-fi connection and laptop/tablet or smartphone, and a semi quiet space to practice in the comfort of our own home.
The session is 60 minutes long and includes:
- A full postural assessment from Rebecca
- A customized 1:1 GYROKINESIS® exercise session
- 3 take home exercises chosen specifically for your body to help balance stability and mobility for your specific postural type. You can practice these exercises anywhere.
- If you wish I can also record the session (either audio or video) for you so you can review what we did in the session and refer back to it at any time.
